This is my honest review about this shop: They are truly dishonest. They not only cheated me by selling a saree for ₹2200 that costs just ₹800 in the Godowlia market, but they also deliberately swapped the saree I had originally chosen. I was a tourist and stayed in Varanasi for three days after buying the saree. During this time, I asked the shop multiple times in hopes of at least exchanging it, but they kept saying they would visit me if I paid ₹500 for travel expenses. Interestingly, I agreed since I had already spent around ₹7200 on sarees. Despite their repeated assurances that I didn't need to go to the shop and they would come, they never showed up. Today, I am leaving Varanasi with the thought of how dishonest they truly are. In fact, I feel that most common people here—especially shopkeepers, hotel staff, and particularly auto and tuk-tuk drivers—are only interested in taking advantage of tourists and cheating them due to their lack of local knowledge.
Local guide force us to go to the shop and makeus buy duplicate katan and other silk at almost double price. Shopkeeper is soft spoken claiming sarees at 25% lower than the market and making fraud with guide.

Visited last month, very annoying staff. Local guide at sarnath, will take you to this shop even if you don't want to buy. The cost is high and quality is not too good. Staff is very annoying and strange. Not recommended.
