This place is the best considering the quality, portion and taste easing your wallet. The staffs are cordial. Specially need to mention about Mr. Anjan Roy. His gentle behaviour and hospitality will definitely impress you. We have tried many dishes for 3 days in lunch and dinner & all of them are amazing.
Food is good,Most of the items made from same gravy,so I wasn’t able to differentiate the taste, staff good .,ambience also good ,can visit with family once.
I recently visited Song of Bengal Restaurant at Pulin Puri Hotel, and the experience was really nice. The overall vibe of the place is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. We ordered basmati rice, dal, jhuro alubhaja, crab masala, egg fried rice, and chili chicken. The food tasted delicious, especially the crab masala and chili chicken, which were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The dal and jhuro alubhaja also gave that comforting homely touch. The only suggestion I would like to give is regarding the egg fried rice—the taste was good, but the rice quality felt a bit average. Improving that would make the dish even better. Overall, a good dining experience with tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit! 🌸
The food did not meet my expectations.. The naan was a bit hard and the flavour of the curry was off ... I request the restaurant to improve the food quality and the chicken needed to be cooked for a few minutes more .. Otherwise the service was quick and the staff were very polite...
This restuarant has old world charm. Food is decent. Special thanks to the cordial waiters and staff. AC was leaking water a little. Crab masala was good.Prawn was very average and smelled of haldi
Overall good quality. They have separate sections in the menu for Indian, Chinese and Bengali cuisines. The taste of the food is quite good. But the only problem is the quantity provided vs price. For moderately high priced food items in the Puri area, the food quantity is very less. Also there are not a lot of options in the menu, and the menu is rather small. I had veg and non veg food. Food quantity and quality is good but quantity is less. Okay for once or twice visit, but not for everyday eating.
